I've been following Jason Calacanis online for couple of years after discovering engadget and Weblogs, Inc. I think it was his success story that intrigued me the most. Here I am, what I thought was an internet entrepreneur having part-time, started a couple of web sites but never really being able to get over the hump. I also never imagined myself blogging but he peaked my interest here as well so I've started a couple of blogs that are just getting off the ground with several more ideas in the works. He not only started the biggest and most popular blog network but then sold it to AOL for millions. Very inspiring!
If you're not familiar with Jason, he's a brash, blog-boss from Brooklyn who is also very entertaining to read and listen to in his podcasts. He's also very generous by giving all of his podcast sponsorship money from PodTech.net and Godaddy.com to Bay Ridge Prep, a private school in New York for disadvantaged kids. Anyway, I searched the video archives and found an interview he did with Charlie Rose back in the Silicon Alley days...You'll have to fast forward to the 43:00 minute mark to see his interview. enjoy...Jason, Great Link Baiting post today!
